WHAT IS EARLY PREGNANCY BLEEDING

Around 30% of all expected woman note some kind of bleeding during their pregnancy especially during their first trimester of pregnancy

During early stages of pregnancy, many women note some sort of bleeding or spotting that usually occurs when implantation occurs in the uterus.Spotting is light bleeding and it can occur during 8 to 12 days after conception . Many women confuse implantation bleeding or spotting with menstrual period because of timing of implantation bleeding

Early pregnancy Bleeding or spotting that occurs at specific intervals during early stages of pregnancy around the time when expectant women would have expected their menstrual period . This type of bleeding is actually not true menstrual period.

CAUSES OF EARLY PREGNANCY BLEEDING

Bleeding or spotting sometimes indicates the existence of bacterial infection in vagina or cervix. It is very important to every pregnant women to undergo regular medical checkup to ensure that she is not having these types of infections

>Hormonal changes are very common during pregnancy and due to these changes heavy blood flow occurs to the cervix that result in spotting after sex or pap smears and vaginal examinations

In this condition , bleeding occurs under the placenta.In some cases , this conditions ends up on the miscarriage.However , in most cases bleeding that is caused by this condition goes away after some time.

Another known and common reason of early pregnancy bleeding is ectopic pregnancy.Light bleeding or spotting may occur due to ectopic pregnancy.It is wise to see your doctor for reason due to this condition
